The Utah Treasure Hunt is an annual treasure created in the wake of the Covid pandemic to help searchers get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors. This is their second treasure hunt of 2021with an increased prize of $20,000.
The hunt is again free to enter and involves solving several "steps" to identify locations of QR codes. Solving the first clue will lead you to a QR code that will take you to a password-protected website that will include the next hint. Be the first to solve all the clues and you'll be awarded $20,000 for your troubles.

Clues/Hints
- October 10, 2021: 1st Clue: Above is a screenshot taken from Google Maps Street View. The first QR code lies on an outcrop of rocks a few hundred feet off the road where the arrow is pointing. You will need to figure out where this is. Good luck! Source
- October 14, 2021: Hint for QR #1: For anyone struggling with the first clue, I would maybe look for roads off I-80. Possibly ones that have something to do with airplanes.
- October 14, 2021: Hint for QR #2: For those of you who solved this by yourselves, we salute you. For those still trying to solve it. Think about a number that never ends. Also, meet our friend Vigenere.
- October 14, 2021: Hint for QR #3: BEARMADEOFSTONE has nothing to do with its location. A lot of people have been in the right area but haven't yet located it. It's not located anywhere in the mountains. You are looking for another QR code, not the treasure itself.
