The Utah Treasure Hunt is a recurring hunt based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, now in its third year of creating treasure hunts. While we wait for their Spring 2022 hunt planned for June, the creators have announced a new type of hunt they are calling Treasure Quest. What we know so far is that Treasure Quest will occur in Summer 2022, the prize will be $10,000 or more, the hunt will take place over 3-4 days, and only 10 teams will be allowed to participate. In order to gain entry into Treasure Quest and be one of the 10 teams, you will first need to win a Side Quest.
Side Quests are a series of mini hunts that are being released on The Utah Treasure Hunt Instagram accounts @the.cline.fam @onthejohn over the next ten weeks. Each week a clue, riddle, cipher, or something else will be released for you to solve. The first person or team to solve the Side Quest will be awarded a monetary prize and one of ten entries into this summer's Treasure Quest.
